I was referring to the cable that connects to the PUC out on the Beovision with an IR emitter on the other end. The emitter is placed over the IR receiver on the Apple TV just to the rigfht of the power light. It is the same cable used to control connected Blu-Ray players, satellite receivers etc.

The answer is yes. I just did it. Connect an IR repeater and the Beo 4 commands will be learned. Works perfectly so far.

It would be very simple to do if the speakers were connected to the TV. As they are not connected, I am not sure how to get the music to play from the speakers as well as have the display on the TV. Perhaps run the audio to the Beosound auxiliary input and then use a one command to turn the TV on and aniother to turn the auxiliary on? If the Beolab

Sorry, I am not the best person to answer this. There are others here who know much more than I do. Have you tried setting both to option 1? Just looked at our Avant's manual and it seems to show that as the option setting in a set-up similiar to yours. I am not sure if that would allow TV sound to be played through the speakers however.
