Very interesting, this article. Somehow, it made me feel like B&O should give new designers a chance, but on the other hand, David Lewis has created wonderfull products...

9 LEE: ... Is it time to discontinue, or do we think these speakers are akin to the Porsche 911 - a true classic that should keep going forever? Lee I think this question is easyly answerable: as the BL8000 (and the BL6000 too) keep selling very well, they won't be discontinued and therefor is already a (design-) classic.

Peter: No room (or spare £10,000!) for Beolab 5s ! I want column speakers rather than wall mounted ones but will probably stick to just fronts initially . if you plan to get rear speaker anyway, I think you can take any of the two right now and get the other one later to complete the system. I am not very sure about this, but I think that the folders on the sd card are read in the order they were created/ copied. If you move 3 folders to the card, it will play in third place the first folder created whatever his name is. In a folder, the songs are played in alphabetical order as far as I know.

The Stig - ver. 1.4: Sorry but it's the other way around. it gets a new panel and no new chassis... and don't need it IMO. I would go for BV7 32" mk III talk to your dealer about the possibility to get one home on trial. Really? IMO, it is more important to get more connections to the BV7, because the pannel is good enough for a 32"

I am quite sure that after the 40" version, the BV7-32 will get a similar update. The panel probably won't be updated, as a 32" screen does not need that update, but concerning the connections, i simply needs to be updated to stay up to date. As the BV7 is the (perfect) replacement for the Avant, I can't but recommand you to wait untill
