they really seem to have completely lost the plot in the bno engineering division recently and their software writers need a good sharp kick up the backside pronto
I do worry** about which staff were made redundant when B&O cut back on staff numbers through 2008. In my previous employment, my position
as steve jobs said hdmi / hdcp is a 'whole world of hurt' maybe it's not really bno's fault at all ??
To be fair Flappo, the MKIII had sw issues after sw issues. To pass the blame away from the manufacturer, would be easy. If it had been a £1000 TV, perhaps we could be more forgiving
Despite my trepidation about my BV7-40 Mk IV order...
Just out of interest, when is your BV7-40 MKIV arriving? I'm sure you ordered yours a few days before me? Mine came in the store last Tuesday. Have you confirmed a date with your dealer? I've had, erm, one or two issues with my MKIV, so it might
This is not a problem that i am aware of, you have to select the transmitter from the tuning menu. The DVB module logs the channels in order of frequency, so when you select your local transmitter from the tuning menu it puts them back into the correct order. The reason I ask is that a lot of Sky HD boxes are failing with the new software that has been downloaded but the symptom is no satellite
Nice Moxxey. Good to read that someone else is into good build quality and grinding their own beans (what grinder do you use, BTW).
Unfortunately I only use a relatively cheap grinder as I spent all the money allocated towards the Giotto! It's just a cheap £80 Dualit ginder. But, it does the job
If you want to hear how modern 'authentic' production can still sound great, listen to the Jamie Lidell albums, particularly his latest - JIM, it's brilliant.
I'll tell you what, I bought that 'Empire of the Sun' album from iTunes the other day and it's superbly mastered. Sounds brilliant

You can't go wrong with those Rocket Espresso machines, in terms of functionality. They are well designed, but are almost semi-commercial in nature. Believe me when I tell you they are **very** well made. They are solid stainless steel. Very heavy, too! If you read up on user feedback, reviews give the Giotto machine 10/10 in many situations.
What is you favorite shirt(-brand)?
Brioni. I find them extremely well made, easy to iron (top-end cotton), excellent design and so on. Plus, you can walk in to the Brioni store in London, get them to measure your upper body, allow you to choose from hundreds of different fabrics, then order semi-bespoke shirts
Is not poor SD PQ,especially from the internal tuner,an indication of poor processing/upscaling on the part of the TV? How does the retailer's unit compare?
I don't know Terry, it is perplexing. The internals (ie. BS3) should process the incoming signal in the same manner as the MKIII. The retailer doesn't
