• Re: Beovox S55 restoration

Super job Andrew, I particularly like the finish on the stands. The S55's are amongst my favourite small Beovox speakers and very underestimated. Chris.

  • Re: Beocenter 2300 - intermittent loss of sound in one speaker

Hi Adam, I have to agree with Andy, It is extremely rare on Beoworld that a post goes unanswered and as a moderator I feel as guilty as anyone that this was the case with your problem. I can only offer you an apology on behalf a site which prides itself on the excellence of its knowledge & membership. Can I also thank you on behalf Beoworld for

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen Virtuoso Card
I replied to this with my experiences, but the post went to be moderated. Shame really. I don't understand what key words the moderators use to check through posts. BTW the card can only be used with B&O and your relationship is with the credit provider (HFS, I think) and not with B&O.
I've approved
Thanks guys! I have some repair to do to the crossovers as well, but when I get everything together, I'll take some more pictures and report how they sound. Jon
Looking forward to the photo's of the finished project. I will send you the address of my Doctor who very kindly administered a cortisone injection

  • Re: Beolit 707

Hi Geoff and welcome to Beoworld If you are to offer it for sale in this forum then minimum silver membership level is required to post it in the sales section. These are definately sought after radios although I'm not sure of the significance of the serial number as I'm no expert but if it is the first one made then it will definately add to

  • Re: Earth hour

My take on this touchy subject is that EVERYONE is responsible for trying to reduce wastage in any form they can and climate change cannot be blamed solely on government policy altough governments could so easily make wholesale changes at a far faster pace to combat this. As you say Dave - each to their own and as a democratic minded individual I would

  • Re: Earth hour

Hi John, although I agree with your sentiments (assuming the post concerned is NOT intended as a joke) I would urge you to please not use profanities however well disguised they are. This is not really in the spirit of an otherwise very friendly forum and I'm hopeful that the other Beoworld member concerned will affirm that the post was indeed a

  • Re: Beomaster 5000 Phono Datalink Stopped Working

Hi Dom, The most common problem with the phono DIN cable on this set up is the tight angle at which it sits in the input socket of the beomaster 5000 which can affect the connections to the pins in the plug. It appears that this isn't the problem though as it works with other input sockets but it is definately worth checking the plug in any case
Hi StUrrock, Thanks for the kind words! If you like good stained-glass windows, check out Sainte Chapelle in Paris, IMHO it beats even the Sagrada Familia Cheers, Steve.
THIS is my favourite Glass/Church combination - quite a breathtaking gift from Rene Lalique Chris.

  • Re: Beogram shipping

Hi and welcome to Beoworld. There are several things to consider when shipping a beogram (collecting in person is easily the best option). 1. Ensure the 3 transport screws are tightened - these are located underneath the turntable. 2. Remove the cartridge and ensure the stylus guard is lowered and pack seperately. 3. Remove the platter and pack at the
