Thanks Mika, have seen these threads (not thoroughly though) but I saw pictures where extra speakers has been added in this metal plate. Was that the purpose of this plate to cut holes for new drivers?

Sorry guys, I think I know the answer myself. A sort of cardboard must have been used that was glued both to the metal plate and frame. But where is the cardboard? There was a lot of rubbish inside when I opened it. That could not be the cardboard was it?

Today I have "reclothed" a pair of RL60's. When I opened the cabinet, a metal plate was loose inside the speaker cabinet. I wonder how this metal plae was attached to the cabinet. I can't find out how it was fixed???? The only way was straight on the cloth? Please help if you know how it was fixed. Thanks!
