Seems like it will have to be a BV5. I don't use any HD signals, still use DVD, my cable is in SD etc... No plans for a PS3 or Blueray. And nothing beats the look of the BV5, not even the new BV9.

Ahhh, sounds like an excellent trip!
Hello my friend ! Long time no see..... probably you are at restaurant all the time ! ( which is good ) So, in my opinion about your issue is to get BV8 ! The best value for money, great TV, IMO more B&O look than expencive BV7! And picture on 40'' is absolutely amassing ! If you don't need integrated
Yeah but do you really want a BV7? hmm. If you like the aesthetics there, then why don't you consider a second

Thanks for your opinions. How is the BV5 usually equipped? Has it got everything standard or are there different versions of it?

So, I've been more and more thinking of getting a B&O TV to get the "whole experience". But what to get...? I've seen some "bargains" for new BV9's, but it's too large for me at my current place. So my options are: BV8, BV5 or BV7. I like the look of the BV8, and the version I'm considering is the new 40"
Very nice! I have BL3 on either side of my Mermaid screen.
Wow, that must look cool too!

I'm a Mac, so if I was to get an external screen I would get a Cinema display.
I've just bought a nice 24 inch widescreen computer monitor for home, and saw this for an idea http://www.beoworld.org/assets/thumbnails/blab2500d.jpg has anybody else used some Beolab 2500's in a similar setup ?? you need the height of the monitor to be the same as the 2500's I guess, around 36cm :-)
