  • Re: Official DVD2 pictures on Mediacenter

355f: the only products worthy of the B&O name that have been produced recently are bl3/5/9 BS3 and BV9 As we all know, for a lot of people B&O represents just a brand that makes technically outdated products at a shocking price, with just some aluminium and special design. With those products we were able, as beofans, to show to everybody that

  • Re: Official DVD2 pictures on Mediacenter

David: The logos are 100% Philips. The entire unit is Philips apart from some minor tweaks to the user interface and the exterior HDR2 shell. Those hideous plugs at the front are also 100% Philips (hence the DV plug appearing to be a first for B&O - it isn't B&O). It appears that B&O did not put alot of effort into this product, and

  • Re: The Beosystem 3 Owners Thread

kawo: An other interesting feature is if you feed a 4:3 DVD (Eagels Hell Freeze over) via HDMI in 1080p to the BS3 and can not rescale it to 16:9. So I get the anoying black bars on the left and right. I will do some further testing who is the source of the problem, my lovely B&O stuff or this japanese DVD player :-) No system on the market (B&O

  • Re: Beosound 6 Portable Mp3 Player

Why B&O just rebadged and reclothed an old MP3 player from Samsung for the Beosound 6, instead of doing that with a new player? Now that Samsung has announced their new YP-P2 player, the B&O one seems outdated with its small screen : http://www.newlaunches.com/archives/samsung_yepp_ypp2_touchscreen_pmp_with_bluetooth.php

  • Re: is B&O best choice for £4,000?

Those magazines often forget to say that for the price of a pair of B&O speakers, you get a pair of speaker, but also the best amplifier possible for those speakers. If you have a golden hear and a lot of time to try everything, you can get a better sound with two speakers and a stereo amplifier that matches well, but it's not so cheaper and

  • Re: Help! Again!! Broadband in France

Correct Philippe, for someone who is not familiar with PC, Orange is the way to go... (moreover when you live in a "non dégroupé" place) But note that Free is the only operator which has a totally French Hotline (Centrapel), based in France and with some people who knows the hardware (yes, there are some relatively good technicians
