And the "tablet" can display streaming tv and Blu ray content, wirelessly - I remember folk posting here that the BS5 was tethered because it wasn't feasible to transfer the album cover info wirelessly! I'm sure there'll be a queue of people along shortly to tell us "yes, but look at the horrible plastic case".

As simple as you'd imagined! Either connect a dock to the tape or Aux inputs or, simpler still, connect the iPod headphone out to the tape or Aux inputs directly. I can't recall the rear connection types on the BM5500 but I connect my iPod to my BM5000 via a 3.5mm stereo Jack to pair phono lead and it works fine! Good luck
