Any alternatives to put the plate back in place? What kind of material can be used, cardboard maybe?

I think to much emotion for some which could lead to discussions that some people do not appreciate, like the Japan disaster thread. That's just a guess!

By the way and don't laugh!!!!! The first speaker I have attched the metal plate straight to the speaker cloth with double side tape. Stuuuuuuupid! Now I have to try to remove the plate from the cloth
