Well I am now an owner (or at least will be when it arrives!) of a BeoTime! It is my 20th wedding anniversary today and alomng with a Basset Hound fleece, I have a picture of a BeoTime!
You really shouldn't make fleeces from Basset Hounds (even on your anniversary!)

Abstract of original report: In this article, an experiment was conducted to measure the effect of framing a high definition television (HDTV) clip. One group of participants was told they were watching a brand new HDTV clip, while the other group was told they were watching a digital DVD clip. Both groups were in fact watching the same (low) quality
help?
Seem to recall a similar BC1 issue where it was suggested that there might be a timer issue if CDs were found to play right through, but longer running DVD's turned off prematurely at about the same running time. ( But I don't know whether that turned out to be the actual problem in that particular

That's about £206 or thereabouts, so much cheaper their. I'll get it from Vegas. Which is your dealer Raz?
But you've got to bring in back Simon. If you get caught, you'll have to pay nearly 22% in customs fees. How will you get it through the customs

Perhaps if you have an Avant - and you do not want a larger screen - then it's a valid standpoint. However, I have a BV7-40 and ideally would like a 46". SD already looks fairly poor
-
Interesting! But at full screen the SD images look a bit fuzzy, and the computer viewing distance is not comparable with a normal TV viewing distance. Is this more applicable to just viewing on a PC????? (Not sure what conclusions to draw!)
-
Proof that you can make yourself believe SD to be HD [here] THis must be another reason that recent B&O SD televisions regularly get mistaken for HD. Also explains why many think HD to be better at viewing distances where you couldn't tell the difference in any case! Graham
Here is a link to the main site from which the entire list is available. Also, the list is broken down by categories. The category B and O is in is Technology General. The ONLY members of the category to rank higher than B and O were Apple/iPod. Conversely, many well known names ranked much lower on the list than B and
Some good has come of all this then :)
EDIT, Nothing obsequious about Wednesday night threads on Beoworld (And they usually sink rapidly below the horizon once their purpose has been served)
