I bought mine (NOS) a few months back from user: RIDAX Not sure he has any left... and I believe he is quite busy = may be tough to get a hold of presently. As far as redoing them... pretty tough... it is a chromium type plating. I think you would only end up making it look worse. My plan for my old one: I was going to try to cut/buy a circular piece
