My question is do the settings in the BV7 menu that allow a sub to be specifically assigned a position such as LEFT RIGHT FRONT REAR have any effect on tge sound from the sub? If not, why does the BV7 allow the sub to be assigned a position? Thanks!

This is not the same but is an alternative I have been considering. It is basically a metal frame mounted to the wall with wood panels that fit into the frame. It is customizable in different sizes....i.e. number of panels. It has hidden openings that allow wires to be run behind the panels and concealed completely as well as concealing any outlets

Anybody have any experience using two subs? Does setting the BV7 to left right front or rear change the sound that goes to the sub in any manner? I have also noticed that it does allow two different distances to be set for the two subs. Thanks!

We just had the software updated on our BV7. I noticed that in the speaker menu in addition to being able to choose "subwoofer" there are now options for left subwoofer, right subwoofer, front subwoofer and rear subwoofer. I do not recall seeing these options in the old software. Are they new? Do they have any affect on the performance of

Are you actually controlling N.Music with the iTouch or controlling iTunes with the iTouch? If you have a way to control N. Music on Beo Player with the iTouch without using iTunes could you explain how? Thanks!

My understanding is that sound received by the BV7/BS3 via HDMI can not be accessed in link rooms. For this reason we have our Apple TV connected with an HDMI so that I can have 5.1 on downloaded movies but then also connected it with a pair of analog cables so that I can access music from it in the link rooms.

I don't think it is possible to broadcast two different sources although I may be wrong. I have never tried to do that. Others here would know much better than I but thought I would at least give you my opinion. I will have to try it with my system and see if I am right or not.

My understanding is that it is a system that will adjust the sound automatically, perhaps using a microphone, somewhat similiar to the system on Beolab 5s. It has not yet been officially released and thus there is no way to get it to work at present even though it shows up in the software. It is also my understanding that a hardware update to the BV7
