AV is not a command. What is it that you want it to do when you press AV?

Lab on top! As I regularly change inputs and outputs, it is much easier. Lift lab up, move six inches to the right, Place duster on Beomaster, and lift right side of Lab up so it stands on its end on the duster. Do you know, with all the hype about the BeoCom 2 ringtone, and how it was inspired by a tube of aluminium dropping on the floor etc, I think the Beocom 2 ringtone is awful! Not at all a friendly sound like the 6000, and can not be made to gradually increase like you can on the Mk1 Beocom 6000. Sorry, this is just my opinion. Andy T.

Hi DR, and a warm welcome to BeoWorld I just had a look at the service manual and notice that the BG3400 is very similar to the BG1102 and 1902. The fault is common, and more than likely to be caused by dried out lubrication on a specific point. Read this thread , and you will find a photo of the offending part. Hope this helps. Andy T.

Welcome to Beoworld. What a lovely thing to receive! I know that the Amp that went with the Beogram 3300 has a built in pre amp, so presume that the deck didn't.
