Hi, no it can't do either of those things. The BS3000 can link to the PC2 (via it's masterlink connection and N.MUSIC capable software) But it cannot take an SD card, only the BS4 can do that. The BS3200 has a built in hard drive, but does not record data from a computer, only it's own sources and in real-time (radio,CD,Aux)

I agree with your taste Simon. However i adore the BV9 and i think it looks great in any room, but yes the BV5 looks a thousand times nicer and less intrusive, but that product is GONE hehe and in the current range the BV9 and BV4 really are the stars in my view, the BV7 has always been an average design to me that looks like a typical tv on a pole
