Just been bought a Beocom 1000 as a gift. Plugged it into a spare phone socket in my house and it keeps making my modem lose broadband connection. Tried it in different sockets and removing other phones, but it keeps on doing it. Any ideas what's wrong??
Nice work John, like your little resistor friend BTW. Craig
Cheers Craig Fliss knitted him for me. He's also got a friend called Captain Capacitor. Next time I do anything like this I'll have to wheel him out :)

I will Chris - the tickets are for my 30th so it's extra special. No idea why the nearest venue is Hull though!?

Good stuff - I've got tickets to see him in Hull in May and can't wait!

Really nice work Derek - that must have been a satisfying job well done :) Laurence - just to point out that Derek is not the only one who has been rebuilding these displays. My BM 8000 had some work done on the LEDs on behalf of the previous owner a couple of years ago. I know of two individuals in Europe who have also been doing this for some time
No, the STB is an optional extra inside the TV. You plug an IR eye into the STB socket and stick the eye onto your Sky box.
.....so the question remains as to whether our Avants have the right software loaded to enable them to control the Virgin media box by Beo 4, through the STB/IR eye in our Avants?
