Peter, that is mightily impressive and certainly cost effective by the looks of things. One question though - is the replacement cantilever hollow sapphire as the original? Nit picking I suppose and probably doesn't make a great deal of difference but I'm just curious. Looking forward to your assessment of this rebuild V's soundsmith items

As far as I know dealers are required to either fix your item or if they cannot do so replace it with a new one. The quality of customer service & warranty is one of the reasons you pay a premium for B&O products so don't let them fob you off with excuses. Chris.
