Probably the bottom plate in need of adjusting. Losen it and see if you can move it a mm back. Martin

I may have a large number of B&O things but seeing what other people have, I can safely say that my collection is far from the grandest. Martin

What a nice pool. A couple of Beomaster 8000's, a handful of CD50's plus a 8002 and some other tangentials etc. Easily worth the opening bid and also a bit more for someone able to pickup. "This is the grandest selection one shall find anywhere." naaah... Martin

It will probably soon need new capacitors, that's quite common but it's also quite common to see the Beogram 4000 running a bit warm so yours may still be fine. The weak (and warm) power supply circuit was one of the things that was corrected in the later Beogram tangential versions. Martin

The number of capacitors is limited to one single 12uF 25V Bipolar in each cabinet. Martin

Thanks Martin, greatly appreciated. We seemed to agree on C5 so I replaced it and success ! That's how a repair should be, one component out and a new in. Martin

I must admit, I don't remember but the service manaul seems to show the eccentrics sitting below decks. Martin

If the belt came off, the motor will normally be very audible. I suggest you check the lamp and signal from the sensor inside the carriage. Martin
