I think the reason is explained on Beocentral Andy (I'm too knackered to find out for myself - busy week and all that). Either way the Beomaster 7000 is to all intents & purposes an upgraded 5500. Chris.

It makes no real difference Graham. The person who owns the paypal account which paid for the item is protected. It doesn't matter one iota if they weren't the person who won the ebay auction. If there is a problem the claim would have to go through the owner of the paypal account - don't even bother trying the ebay claims prodedure as it

My 7000 goes higher than my 5500. I usually have to set my 7000 around 10 higher than my 5500 to get the same volume and I'm sure this is how they were designed. When both are maxed out the output is pretty comparable. Chris.

Hi David, there is a very slim chance it will dry out and be usable. The exact same thing happened to one of my BC6000's but I was quick enough to remove the battery immediately and put the handset in a dry warm place for a few days - the airing cupboard. It worked fine afterwards. If not then you will need to either send it for repair or I think
