Thanks for the info, Quim. I assume you have the BV7-40 MKIII..(?). I have (had) the same problem with my Tvix. If you can deactivate the TV tuner, source "TV" should appear in the connections menu as source...(?). this is what the MKIV does. Can you confirm this? Is it also possible to deactivate the DVB tuner in 6.11? With Gefen expander

You can use a Beolink 1000. This remote is able to change AV9000 volume even it is in LINK SAT mode, and it has a specific button for "LINK". You can also use a Lintronic box. This box could send "TV - 6" IR macro command, when receiving -for example- LINK - SAT. So you could activate your AV9000 AND Avant by pressing just LINK

PL-Kabel

If BC9000 got an audio aux link it should work. But what I actually do not know is whether also Link audio sources will work. That was the main problem with the BM7000, BC9500. And I don`t know whether a Beolink 1611 will work. But worth a try. BTW do you want to control audio- and video-sources or just audio? I don`t think you will destroy anything

I had a setup that had a BM4500, sw 1.6 (1 way), a Beolink Video MKII (1615?), a TV-box (Auvisio)and a computer Monitor (Mermaid) in the link room. Main room is BS9000, BS5 and BV7-40 MKIII. It was possible to control mainroom video-sources by TV, DTV, DVD....Picture and sound via RF modulator. BM4500 switched to A.AUX. Mainroom audio-sources could

I`m soorry that my advice is not useful for you. To get stereo sound on your TV select SPEAKER 2 mode. You never told before your MX has an (optional) surround module. Did you try SHIFT - SOUND on BL1000? Or Press LIST til SOUND displayed and GO on Beo4. This should switch the audio track... Stefan

As you said you want to change sound of a recorded video, so it doesn`t make sense to change sound settings in the V.tuner menu of the HDR1. It`s no failure and no problem of the tuner. The HDR1 just did what it should do. The TV station sends a 2-channel (language) audio instead of stereo. HDR1 recorded this audio - as a stereo signal - one language

Not sure, but did you try SHIFT - SOUND in V.TAPE mode on a BL1000? I remember this was the option to change the audio track when two channel mode is used. Sorry I can`t remember what to press on Beo4.....(?) Stefan

I`m glad everything is fine now. Mermaid is a wellknown company in Denmark. They have PC monitors called Ventura. The best sold is the 15" 4:3 monitor, that Graham bought. You can find Mermaid monitors in Denmark at public places as supermarkeds, shops, banks (imagine 20-25 customised Mermaids in a single large room in a bank...). They also have

Won`t work I`m afraid. BS4500 can not distribute N.MUSIC, N.RADIO. If you press N.RADIO on your Beo4, it will activate the PHONO socket of your BM4500. You will need an audiomaster like BS4, BS3000, BS9000. But if you just want to listen to your PC output, without any control, just connect it to a vacant BM4500 input and select this one in your link
