http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/wiring4.htm For normal B&O speaker I think it would be way easier but since the BL2000 is designed to get the source from the remote B&O system it will be tricky.

You would put the ATV to HDMI, the STB to component, you need the sound from the STB to go in through one of the scart connections and lastly you would connect the Wii to AV3 ... the DVD1 will be connected through the scart in the ML module .,... You have a similar setup that I have (BC2 rather then DVD1), except my component is unused as I haven't

I have the Wii with my BV8. If you have small children I would always choose that over the PS3, is much more fun. When it comes to connections you have one HDMI and one component. So Apple TV and Playstation and HD cable would be not an option. What I like about the apple TV versus my Imac that I used before is, that the content syncs and its always

BS2300 which is still in use after 10 years. I updated the BL2500 with the Aluminum Fronts to freshen up the look. Never regretted the purchase, I am still in love with it.

Very demanding group I guess. The connectivity issue though is there if you want Wii, Playstation, Media PC, Blueray it can get quite tricky to connect all this. In the end it comes down to price. I would not buy it new but with a heft discount. When you check the prices of BV5s right now, that gives you a good feeling how much a TV can fall in value

If I recall correct he posted once in the old forum. You can do similiar things with IRED/IRTRANS but using an Iphone/itouch is probably the killer application right now. I had IRED/IRTRANS runnning and controlled an IMAC. I switched to Apple TV now and control that through the BV8 which is much more fluent then my old solution. I am waiting though

I was editing this yesterday and in the middle the site went down. I would not spend 400 quid on a 20 meter HSMI cable. With the BV8 you not even close to run full HD and 720P is not that tough when it comes to lenght. Amplified 20 meter HDMI cable go here in the US for around 130$ .... fully certified up to 1080P on that distance. Cheers JK

I do not know much about the amplifier. With 20 meter length you are pushing it a bit though I believe. Yes it is a digital signal but even those can be distorted. So I would either go and buy a simple extension cable and try it out or just go for a new cable and buy one that is certified / compliant with 1080P or whatnot on that lenght. The trouble

JK
