  • BeoVision MX 1500

I am thinking of buying a MX 1500 for our guestroom. What should I be aware of? What type of speaker is built in? Is it a foam-type or rubber-type? Thank you in advance for your answers. /Erik

  • Re: beovision circa 2000, tube needs replacing, free if you collect

Why not try to put it on e-bay? Maybe there is a person out there who wants to break it apart by himself and use the parts as spare... I once sold a broken MX, where the buyer wanted the cabinet and contrast screen, which was in excellent condition. /Erik

Hi Daniel, www.radioogtveksperten.dk sell "new" drivers for DKK 350 each if you hand over your old ones: http://radioogtveksperten.dk/tilbehoer-44/modul-66/hoejttalerenheder-67/ I have delt with him a few times, and I am very satisfied. Regards, Erik

  • Re: BeoVision LX 6000 mk II

This is really wonderful news. I do not have the opportunity to look behind the frets right now, as the set will be turned over to me in the weekend 1st and 2nd of November. I did not think of looking behind the frets, when I first saw the set. The thought suddenly came to me because the speakers in my old LX 2500 have had foam rot, and I had to change

  • Foam rot...

...why does it appear? Are there any possible ways to prevent it happening? If it is some sort of dry out, can you lubricant the foam with something? Regards, Erik

  • Re: BeoSound 9000 or BeoSound 5

I don't know much about the features in BeoSound 5, but if you want the possibility to listen to N.RADIO and N.MUSIC and still want to pop a CD in a player and listen to FM, then a BeoSound 9000 with a BeoPort connected through MasterLink is the choice. Regards, Erik

  • Beolink 1000: coloured buttons...

Hi, I know Beolink 1000 does not have any coloured buttons as Beo4 have. Are there any way to simulate these buttons with Beolink 1000? I think I have seen some sort of combination earlier in this forum, but I am unable to find the post. Thank you in advance for your answers. Regards, Erik

  • Re: Beoport Registration for N. Radio

Dear Keith, I got a reply from B&O BeoCare in Struer, Denmark today, which I contacted yesterday by phone to get a solution to the N.RADIO registration trouble... I can tell you, that B&O has solved the problem, so it is now possible to do a registration under ver. 4.81. In this moment I am listening to music from the Internet. Regards, Erik
