Hi Anders, What a beautiful space, love the windows and the vaulted ceiling and volume. Must be just wonderful on a quiet, sunny afternoon. And i bet those BL 5 sound great in there! I'm with the others, dark will look great, and as the others have also noted it will ground the space and add some nice, rich contrast. Yes a darfer tone will give

Hi Henrik, Thanks, yes they were the photos I saw. Not a big mess at all. Definitely a very nice collection ...... Thanks for all your feedback... Laurence.

Hi Derek, Thanks for your reply and additional information... I think your report on doing this made it sound relatively easy for someone who knows their way around the electronics. But it does look rather time consuming and requiring lots of patience and steady hands... no coffee before hand.... So I'm wondering, what would you rate this in difficulty
-
Hey Henrik, No problem, thanks for coming back.... OK, so its really the size of the room and the volume limits that are associated with it, and that is why you chose to go with the smaller lower wattage speakers..... so i guess you never really turn it up very loud past 'easy listening'?.... I also just realised, I think you posted some very

.....Dave I hope thats good!

Hi Jeff, I think that the bronze is a great idea, and I think a larger range of more sophisticated metallic colours as you have suggested would work really well. Laurence.

Hi Mbee, I agree with you totally, what you have expressed is exactly what I did the last time this subject was brought up, both about the other colours (I specifically also mentioned the blue ), and about how in the right interior this could look fantastic..... just as you say a dark interior with gold accents..... .....I can see this in a modernist

Hi Auric, Agreed, well done! I think you have solved an ongoing headache for many owners of these systems, who were not able to resolve the issue of the digital displays failing.... As an owner of a 6000 I'm feeling better now knowing that there is a solution that probably most techically savvy people can execute themselves and or get a repair centre

Hey Friedmett, Yes the BG 8002 is still under consideration, but I'd have to buy a few records first, the only ones I have are at my parents home dating from the 70/80's ... and the BC I would only like to get to complete the system 'look'... so we'll see.. I'm glad your able to enjoy all the componants. I really don't think
-
Hi Durr, Just my 2 cents... whilst the 8000 (and depending how componants you plan to use) is probably to big for a small office, my thinking is if you have the physical space to place it in the room and since you are already have a mint condition working unit, why not try to use it? Whilst also, you won't be able to use it at its full potential
