Can it be that the stand is now in a position where it can not turn further to the direction needed? If so it may seem that the stand is only working one direction but it is just going back to center position? In the menu options you should be able to select presettings for standby / on / video position

And even without brackets the STB can be placed on the stand's frame connection between the stand and the tv (with a tiewrap), My DVD player is placed with plastic holders that hook into the top 'grill' (on the back), these open spaces for cooling i presume? I will post a picture tomorrow but you can find these as well in (my) other thread

One other comment though, the picture quality is suberb .. much better than seen in the store so yes the quality is better than the MX7000 (see opening post)

Today my BV10-40 has been delivered. It has taken a bit longer due to production problems of the frame (?), or maybe the dealer wanted to wait and get more orders in. Either way, the TV is here and I got the DVD Blu Ray (Samsung) for free on top of a generous discount back in january. Most of you know how a BV10 looks like. I want to share two pictures
