You´ll be very happy with the BL8000. They are design icons, and will never loose their attractivity. They sound better than the BL6000 I used to own, which also sounded terrific (for their size).

Hi You have posted this in the Scandinavian section. Try the General forum, more answers there! You already have your question in english, so it´s only copy and paiste!

I think you answered the 4000 vs 4002 question yourself! The 4000 cannot be used as a link TV. Otherwise they are the same.

I can understand why they won´t focus on hard disc recorders, but surely they need Bluray player also for BV9 for instance. Satelite tuners, hard disc recorders etc can be hidden. A bluray player you have to touch, and I certainly don´t want a Sony (or other) player visible in my living room!

"Cold, metallic sound"??? I don´t have the same experience with them. I used to have them as front speakers with Beolab 4000 in the back and vice versa for a short period. The 6000s had a nice, warm feel to them, but they lack some bass. I connected an active KEF subwoofer, a sub suitable for music. I was very happy with this setup.

Both the BL9 and BL5 are relatively small, at least considering the sound they produce. That is one of the things love about them. But the thead starter asked about design, and I think the BL8000 fits wonderfully the design of the BS9000.

I think the BL8000 matches the design of the BS9000 better than the BL9. I don't think the BL 9 look weak, even though it is quite small.

Roger: The price for the 7-32 Monitor is already set and it has been around for a few months now. B&O will switch from DVD to BluRay across the range, but not for the BeoCenter 2 - the BluRay-drive doesn't seem to fit within the existing body (expect a BC3...). Roger Across the range? You mean even the 7-32?
-
I have also had both. Soundwise it's not that big a difference, so it is much a matter of what design suits you most. I think the BL6000 is maybe the most beautiful speaker in the BL series, however they didn't fit my livingroom as rear speakers. The BL 4000 was better for me. Both are great speakers, so you can't choose wrong on this one

Another Question is, what will be the price of the BV7-40 with Bluray?
