  • Re: Tempting

Hi again Moxxey, don't get me started on the inequalities and injustices of the world or I'll never stop! You asked what I am using for audio - if you look at the site I have just bought the last three pairs of Anthony Gallo Reference 3.1 speakers, am selling two pairs and keeping one - these are being driven by a Yamaha RVX1065 amp (all stuff

  • Re: Tempting

Hi Moxxey, I have just gone for a Samsung UE55C8000. Now is the time to get rid of the MK4, before the MK5 comes out and residual values are hit!!

  • Re: Beovision 10 and HDMI connections

Yes I believe so, however you must have the Gefen PUC in the PUC list.

  • Re: Beovision 8 - 32 update

In answer to your question, circa £350-£400 - better still, take advantage of the STB/puc controlling capability of the BV8-32 any buy, for example, a Freeview PVR such as the Topfield 5810 - even if you have to have your software updated to control the Topfield, should still only cost you £270 or thereabouts but massive loads of functionality

  • Re: BS9000 and BV5

I see your point Daniel, I was wrong to have assumed they were in the same room - obviously we don't know what settings they currently have so I would always set the BV5, if acting as a link room set to V.OPT 6 and the stereo to A.OPT 1 if these are the only two items in the house. IMHO the speakers in the BV5 give a tremendous reproduction for

  • Re: BS9000 and BV5

No idea what you mean about parameters but the two products should be connected by ML cable and TV should be in V.OPT 2 and 9000 in A.OPT 0

I agree Cal, however I remember there is luminance in the screen when you play audio, pretty sure of it, thanks

  • Re: BEO 8 BEO4 SKY HD INCOMPATIBILITIES

I don't want to go off thread here, but doesn't it say something when a customer from a B&O franchised store has no other option but to post as above on an Internet forum to try and sort problems out on a TV bought at a premium price? If I owned a store and I had sold a customer this TV then I would be obliged to bloody well sort these problems

  • Re: BV5 HD multiple digital inputs controlled via Beo 5 remote?

Hi, the problem everyone has is that as well as a 'DVI' switcher you have to simultaneously switch audio via scart, so you'll need a couple of switching boxes at the very least, and you will not have remote control of one of them from a BEO4. Happy to be corrected on this, but the problem is not the HDMI/DVI but the simultaneous switching
