  • Re: beovision av5 with no sound

When you switch the TV on, do the speakers move out from the cabinet? Have a look in the "sound" menu and check if the TV has external speakers assigned. If TV thinks that external speakers are connected that may be why you are not getting anything through the TV speakers.

  • Re: Perfect match

I wonder if a Bluray player is fitted to a Sykes bracket and hidden out of sight behind the screen. They surely wouldn't use an SD DVD from the Beocentre2. Would they?

  • Re: Avant not working correctly with Sky HD

Try powering off thye whole system, Sky boxes included. Give it a couple of minutes then power up again. It sounds a bit cliched but you would be amazed how often this cures a multitude of problems. It costs nothing to try and just might work. I would suggest that the STB emitter is causing the problem but if that was the case, the BeoVision6's

A customer meddling with the settings wouldn't be covered by Bang & Olufsens warranty BUT, that's where customer service comes in. I would fully expect the local dealer to

  • Re: Beocom 6000 and 'No signal'

The answer machine works independently of the telephone. Try switching off the power to your base station and switch off the handset for a minute. Then power up the base station and finally switch the handset back on. with luck, the handset may reestablish contact with the base. If that doesn't work time for a trip to your dealer to get it repaired

  • Re: Option setup for BV3 & BC2 in one room

If you have connected the speakers to the Audio master and the BeoVision3 has no external speakers connected then both should be in option1. With this set up, the TV will only respond to Video commands and the Audio master will respond to audio commands. If you want to listen to TV sound through the speakers via the BeoCentre2 then use the "AV"

  • Re: Option setup for BV3 & BC2 in one room

The Masterlink module was an optional extra in some markets for the BeoVision3 28". Perhaps you have connected the Masterlink cable to a socket that has nothing inside. That would explain why the LED doesn't blink when you try to option programme it. Regards Opman

  • Re: Beovision 9 HDR question

Hi Toubro The box on the back of the BeoVision9 is the BeoSystem3 video engine that drives the picture and decoders the surround sound. The HDR1 and BeoMedia1 were optional and if fitted are internal. They sit inside the bottom of the cabinet either side of the integrated centre channel loudspeaker. regards Opman
