Update: The eyecon iPad app also can search the internet for a song/artist and let me play the selected result on the BeoSound 5! It shows the song and artist on the BeoSound 5 screen but shows no cover art. While the app can let you type in a song/artist to search from sources other than the BeoMaster 5 (including the internet), the search function

I'm using an app on the iPad called "eyecon." With it, it can recognize even the BeoMaster 5 itself as a music source and allow me to select music on it to play on the BeoSound 5 via A.Aux. Thus, this is giving us the ability to control the BeoSound 5 via the iPad. You just use your finger on the iPad to drag the song from the "results"

For anyone who might have been thinking the same thing: I tried connecting my iPhone to my BeoMaster 5 via the iPhone to USB cable. Sound did not come through via the A.Aux.

The BeoSound 5 userguide has been updated already on the B&O site. It says "You can listen to music from an external device, such as a smartphone or a computer, on the speakers of your music system. The device must be connected to the same network as BeoSound 5 and an application on your device is required to communicate with BeoSound 5. Once

What are your views on this. Very interesting that they don't recommend Samsung!!! (I've noticed that Samsung always get very very poor reviews
These huge TVs are very chav! I can imagine Katie Price & Peter Andre buying them with gold stands! I really think this is a tacky route for B&O to go down i'm really not impressed!
I completely agree. Once a screen gets so big, the only tasteful way to go bigger is to have a projector with a retractable

Yesterday, I saw this new blu-ray player from Samsung: brushed aluminum, ultra-thin, 3D, wi-fi, with internet tv, side-slot loading, and wall-mountable. I cringed thinking that the BeoCenter 2 should have been upgraded to blu-ray. At least this player wouldn't look out of place among my B&O.

I wonder if there is a "serial" input module that could be added to a Panasonic commercial screen that would enable on/off control by the BeoSystem?

It's such a beautiful, iconic piece that I feel it's value to someone who loves B&O is worth more than it's market price. Also, if it's in great condition, it seems a shame to risk the damage that could befall it in shipping. The BeoCenter 2300 was my first B&O stereo. I replaced it with the classic BeoSystem 4500, which I later
