More like the 2200 but it doesn't ring a bell (I've just looked).

Hi guys: The only B&O I saw in a thrifty type shop (well not thrifty at all really - it was a Cash Converters) was about five years ago in a shop in Barking - an East London area so it was really unusual to find it there and I don't think anyone in the shop knew what it was worth (me included). I searched on here for a model that looked like

Hi: There are threads on this on the forum somewhere. I do not know exactly what component it is that causes the problem but this as an overheating issue that is a result of poor design. There have been several attempts (I think) to remedy this by putting heatsinks on the offending part or parts. However I do not think that these have been very successful

Bit of an update: The server is up and running XP Pro however, it is only running 512mb of RAM as there seems to be an issue with it reading both SIMMS but I will look into this at a later date. The issue I have now is that I cannot visualise how to make this system truly multi-room. As I would like to link the B&O televisions to the server either

Hi: I know that a few months ago (maybe last year) someone on the forum said that Vodafone were offering Serenes for a one off charge of £100. Apparently these were in short supply and only certain stores did this. Despite contradicting myself and saying that I wouldn't buy a B&O phone in previous threads, if the price is right... Does

Hi: This is purely a guess. However was Beotalk ever sold in the UK? If not, is there not the need to get some kind of converter put on/in the machine so that it works on UK phone systems? Thanks Graham

Hi: I think this is almost certainly a shielding issue - you are picking up both sources because despite the cable being "high qualty" it is not insulated enough. This happens with TVs too, if you have a cable box and a DVD player one image ghosts on top of the other unless you turn one of them off. To be honest the cheapest option is just

Hi all: It is all up and running properly now, using XP. It is only reading 512mb of RAM instead of the 1 gig that can be installed, in fact when I put the extra 512 in it won't boot but I am sure I can sort that out at some point. I am now interested to know about the Beo4 control option, how I go about building/buying the board needed. Also I

Hi Puncher: I hadn't thought of that until I read it on another forum. I changed my mind and thought the HD was broken. I won't be able to test this theory until tonight when I will format the HD I have and stick Windows on it. I never thought getting this thing up and running would take so long! Thanks for your help Graham
