I have a Sony DVD HDD Recorder xml file. It works with the RDR-HX870 and 1090. You can test it with your player.

I have two RaOne Smartdimmer working fine with two normal lamps. I have also two Rania IR Dimmers, from Lutron, with halogen tubular lamps. They are working great too, but the cheaper ones can be controlled by the Beo5 only. There are a more expensive ones that can be controlled with the Beo4 too.

Hi I will upload a xml file to control the Sony BDP-S300, S350 or S500 bluray player with the Beo5, without PUC. It has almost all the functions of the original remote control.
