Yeah, its funny that no one but myself could hear this noise. I mean you would expect the technicians to have reasonable ears, when dealing with high end hifi... Anyway, i got rid of mine, it was NZ $3K and a sanyo stereo for $100 doesnt seem to make odd noises...

does it sort of sound like something is cooling? I had a BS1 and after it had played for a bit then turned off it sounded similar to a car exaust cooling...I took it back but the dealer and service centre "couldnt hear it"

Common issue You need to cut one of the powerlinks wires, can be easily done by cutting one of the plugs pins. Contact your local service centre to check the correct pin. This is in their config guide.

There will be a 7-50 (ish) later this year with LED tech for backlighting. This will also be incorporated (as far as its know at this stage) with the BV10 - unless this goes totally OLED... not decided yet. Bang is busy putting its resources to good use. It will deliver some clever products very soon, ones that have been in the pipeline before Kalle took the helm. Kalle will also ensure new products will be technically superior in the future, Bang learnt here. The company is becoming more lean and focused, I think thats all you can do in these times.
