OK, I know that I'm the "broken record" of these forums, but I continue to assert that B&O should make a fundamental switch and rely on Apple's software for their products. Even if they don't take this extreme step (which I obviously feel would secure their place in the future), they ought to at least work with Apple. Sure

Dear Gang, I've been wanting an LCD flat panel that was larger than 40" so I've been eagerly awaiting news on the 55" BV7. However, in looking at the Samsung LCD panels in this range, I've discovered some issues. I may have some of these facts (or my understanding of the facts) wrong so please feel free to correct me - I'm

"Oh well it's in USA, nothing they do over there seems to make sense to us when it comes to B&o." Actually, that house doesn't look like the USA. The person posting it on Ebay says that they're selling this equipment out of the UK, however, I seem to recall that the original Ebay listing last year was out of Australia. But
If they have any sense in Struer they'll suggest that B&O put out Apple-enabled sets.
I couldn't agree more; partnering with Apple makes perfect sense (and will therefore probably never be done). If B&O were to do this, an added benefit would be the Apple masses taking note of B&O for the

I read this article earlier, and that was the same thing that crossed my mind - will Apple come out with something that will render my expensive B&O TV less appealing. Granted, at this time, my only working B&O TV is the least expensive B&O TV, the BV8. But, I'm waiting for the upgrades to the BV7, including the possibility that B&O

I couldn't resist responding to this thread, though I realize that my opinions on this subject probably won't be well received and certainly don't pertain to B&O equipment. I'm a hunter and conservationist. If those two things sound contradictory, please let me point out that here in the USA, hunters like myself pour much more money

Soundproof: "I can not understand why the BeoSystem 3 does not have digital OUT ..." My sentiments exactly. If the BS3 had digital out, this common trend that we're seeing here (trying to use a computer in concert with other B&O audio pieces or simply using a computer alone) would be easily doable and with volume control. I realize

Soundproof, I'm not a speaker guru so most of the conversation between you and wonderfulelectric is lost on me (though I've still enjoyed reading it as I do most of your posts). However, one of the things you said piqued my interest. Are there other companies that are utilizing the ALT? If so, this bothers me as I'd like to think it's

Just out of curiousity, do we know if the BV-8 40" and the upcoming BV-7 Mark IV have LED backlighting? M

BeoNut1, Kalle Hvidt said earlier this mounth that BV7 will be launched with bigger screen sizes. Probably up to 52" Beofan 2, That'd be great news, but I've had the US B&O people fairly recently tell me nothing bigger was coming in terms of LCDs in 2009. Does Kallie have any idea when it might come. Trip, do you have any insights in
