• Re: BeoVision 10 & the delivery schedule

I did get a response from BeoCare today, explaining that B&O are doing the best they can to meet the high demand of BeoVision 10, which is the cause for delays in delivery. My dealer has a date of January 12, 2010, in the ordering system for the delivery, and I am orientating towards that time. It would of course be nice to be positively surprised

No development. I did reach out to BeoCare, by email and fax, last Tuesday, with a very firm and polite complaint about the delivery schedule. There has been no response yet. I'm kind of hoping they'd surprise me with a delivery around Christmas. My dealer has been very nice, though, as always.

  • Re: Beovison 10 picture problem

Is the panel used in BeoVision 10 the edgeLED 200Hz panel from Samsung? They have reportedly been largely free of clouding problems, which Sony has lately been infamous for. Of course there can always be a few bad apples in a patch of LCD screens, exhibiting notably bad clouding. For a TV costing 6k, I'd hope that B&O quality control picks the

  • Re: BeoVision 10 & the delivery schedule

Thank you for your comments. It's good to hear some information on what's happening with BeoVision 10 in the markets, and thanks for sharing my sentiments. Just a further note to clarify my post: I am not placing any blame or fault on my dealer in this matter; their service has always been exemplary. I hope it didn't sound otherwise. I was

  • BeoVision 10 & the delivery schedule

Maybe it's a mistake, maybe it's the economic down-turn, over-demand or just plain customer over-look (hope not), but I think B&O should sharpen up with their conduct. This is coming from a very loyal customer; a rare public opinion. Something is off in this picture: There was a premiere of BeoVision 10 in Finland in the beginning of November

  • Re: Welcome BV7-55
If you order the 7-55 in the UK now, you should get it before Christmas. But you had better be quick! I don't think the 10 will arrive till after.
I hope this isn't the case for BV10 in Scandinavia. I ordered mine when it was introduced a few weeks ago, and was quoted week 49 (this week) or 50 for delivery

  • Re: Beovision 10 thoughts before buying
I know what you mean but comparison does have a useful purpose so that one can see which mix of qualities suits an individual. The mix is surely the point of the B&O viewing panel who comment on the mix provided.
I'll have the chance to compare a thoroughly calibrated Samsung UE40B7020 next to BV10, when

  • Re: AR coating on BeoVision 10

Thank you for your thoughts. Elsewhere Peter recommended AR coating for the BV10, and the new B&O Magazine / Catalogue also explained the benefits with regard to perceived picture quality. In my country, the AR coating is not standard in the "starting from" pricing. It costs 750 euros extra. However, my dealer made a very good offer, making

  • AR coating on BeoVision 10

A long-time frequent BeoWorld Forum lurker (and a B&O fan for 20 years) here I am going to purchase the new BeoVision 10, but am having a bit of difficulty in deciding if the optional anti-reflective coating is worth the extra cost (+750 euros). Light (daylight) to my living-room will be coming from behind the television. What is your opinion, how
