• Re: Blue Lines on Screen Using Sky and BV7-40

Mine does it all the time on certain channels also, but I only "sometimes" notice it. When I turn my TV on I am pleased by the motor stand, the curtains, the picture and sound quality, the feel of the remote in my hand. To me these things, and the fact that I am watching the program rather than looking for faults, mean that I don't notice

My MK III sometimes does this as well. Is it really an issue? personally I couldn't care less. Sometimes I notice the blue lines down the side of the screen, then I watch the program and completely forget about them. I can't help thinking some people never actually watch what's on their screen and spend their lives looking for "issues"

  • Re: Beocom 5 pics!

I don't see why the VOIP/Skype thing is an issue for people. Any number of inexpensive devices have alowed you to use B&O phones with Skype for years. There's usually a short code to dial to go out over the skype line, but my phonebook just has a standard and skype entry for my contacts for the odd occasion Skype doesn't work. All BeoCom

  • Re: FOXSAT HDR Box Humax

On a TV which can have the PU flashed from a laptop, the software is available and works fine. I don't know off the top of my head if it's available for older TVs which need a new chip. Since you're talking about an HD box I guess you are talking about a fairly new TV anyway, so an engineers visit from your dealer can update your PUC. You

  • Re: BV-10 screen sizes

It will be an LCD panel, with LED backlighting from Samsung. No one currently manufactures a 40" LED panel, although a couple of companies have done a great job of confusing consumers who have heard that O-LED is the next big thing, by making them believe they are LED panels.

At least they have seen sense on the latest TVs and made the TV command usefull again. At last with the 8-40 you can assign the digital tuner to "TV" and use DTV, and VMEM for set top boxes
Yep, but as I found this affects link-room TVs. If you assign your DTV or Sky

with the 8-40 you can assign the digital tuner to "TV" and use DTV, and VMEM for set top boxes
I know this might be redundant ( As I brought it up in another thread) but are you saying that you've successfully switched the built-in Digital Tuner from DTV to TV on the

  • Re: BV7-40 MKIV specs?

OK, Didn't mean to offend and I understood all that having read the thread.
No worries. No-one knows the exact specs, but as you know it will have an updated panel, with a 100Hz screen, a Blu-ray internal drive and perhaps a BS3 with updated sound board. As I said above, as
