My aerial freeview picture on BC6-26 seems much better than the master link feed from my sky HD box with the BV7-40. I seem to see the occassional fuzzy lines on the picture. Is this normal? thanks Vince

I have the same problem. I suspect that yours is a Mark II version like mine. I am having an software update (STB and BV7 software) since I am also adding a link TV. I will let you know in a few weeks time. My current software cannot support HD box. I can't use Sky+ STB option to fully control Sky HD box (at best tempermental!) I think the newest

THe STB update is a simple plug into the computer and download-I need to get this done as Sky HD box is not supported by MkII software. May be a good idea to get new software 7.7 done as well at the same time as you can pay for just one call out charge. 7.7 apparently supports additional HDMI software Vince

The 3rd party hardware are Gefen 4:1 switch and Gefen 1:2 splitter and the guide post in this thread should be used to register HDMI expander. Had a quick look on internet and they arenn't cheap. TV software should be 7.7 or higher. May get installer to sort this out! Vince

very silly question-can BS3 improve quality BV7 Mark II given a quote to upgrade panel only BV7 Mark II to III is about £4-5K thanks Vince

B&O is recommending a specified 3rd party hardware and has released software chip for beo4 integration-requires engineer installation. More details later Vince

I am on the case and will let everybody know. On dealer said it is not HDCP compatible cna anybodty explain and does it affect this? thanks Vince

I rang two UK B&O dealers for further info about the splitter in London; and I have unhelpful replies and comments and even some unfriendly and unkind remarks about Beoworld. If there were no Beoworld I would not have known about this-so thank you! Vince

I think that the BL2 is a very good product and is complementary to my system set up (8000 and 6000). It is too expensive nowdays; I bought it in 2002 at a much more reasonable launch price! THe bass is not boomy at all; rather I feel that it adds 'substance' and depth to it. Vince
