Either that, or they're playing in a tiny room!!

@ Simon - you've hit the nail on the head with that last post... It's completely down to user preference - what makes a person choose a PC over a Mac is akin to a person choosing Pentas over BeoLab 9s - I know which ones I'd have - and wouldn't give a hoot if anyone thought differently! I think that in future it would be in everyone's

As Paul Collingwood once said... "I'm stumped" !!! No idea! I do know, though, that Ed will be dealt with in a thoroughly English manner when I next get hold of him!! Where on Earth did he find that picture of me? Explain yourself!

I've just spent the best part of 20 minutes reading the whole thread!! Clearly some passionate Mac-fans here - it's bitchier than an episode of " Desperate Housewives " in here! Flappo - my father has been working with PC's since the dawn of time (like Simon)! However, I'm 100% certain he'd have absolutely no idea how to

I'm joining this debate very late on... but (and to use a common BeoWorld phrase!) I thought I'd "add my two cents"..... We listen to MP3 all day long through a set of BeoLab 8000's as fronts with BeoLab 2, and a set of BeoLab 3 as rears. When the 3's were added the sound improved massively (in my own opinion). Maybe it just

Wish I'd taken pictures of our (Lee and I) trip(s) to see Ed!! Especially the classic "up nostril" shot of Lee asleep on a Rotterdam subway train....

Yes, it has! The's a BeoGram 9000, but it's square shaped, like the 5005 / 5500. Goodness knows why they didn't match it with it's intended system!
-
Well, the BeoGram 9500 would be a logical starting point , but you're going to struggle to find one!! You'd be best with one of the slanted decks - they'll look better alongside your 'Center. Remember, the BeoCenter 9500 has an inbuilt RIAA pre-amplifier, so you'll need to avoid BeoGram 3500, 4500, 6500 and 7000, which already have
