  • Re: Beo Vision 4 or Beo Vision 7

355f: Razlaw: Yes, the reviews are one year old. What has changed about the BV7 since then? The only changes I am aware of our software which I assume, if anything, improved the TV. well its a question of what the competition has done in that time, look at new lcd from pioneer due in september, using state of theart sharp panel, 40" is about 2K

  • Re: BeoLab 8000 enquiry

Dave: Thanks! Maybe i was misinformed about the ICE power, but i have 4000's as mains at the moment which i do adore, but i just need (want) a little more range, depth and a better sound-stage, i'm afraid the BL3's may be too weak and messy at higher volumes with detailed and aggressive music and the ALT sound may just be to bright for my

  • Re: Has Anyone Considered a TV Other Than a B&O

If you want new cutting edge technology, you can look at the new Sony LCD XBR8 with tricolor-LED-backlit TV. Ho eats Pioneer KURO´s for breakfast if you look at the Sony Vs Pioneer battle in a darkened-room shoot-out. I have seen the XBR8 in real and can only say that the picture are so alive and real that your jaw drops, and it was no artefact'si

Razlaw: I am very confident it is silver. If it were gray it should not look like two different colors. The color on the BV7 is almost identical to the color of the BS1 cabinet next to it. The two installers from B and O, who have obviously seen other BV7s, were both certain that it was silver. I will perhaps post another picture a little later this

Razlaw: Here is a picture taken with a Serene, sorry for the poor quality, lighting was not good in the room late at night for picture taking. I think it looks exactly like my dark grey bv7...So don´t be disappointed when the new set arrives and it´s the same color.. Look closely at your frame and you see it´s grey i can trust you

Razlaw: High definition and BluRay look stunning on the BV-7. I am sure the TV is not Gray. B and O installers both said it was not gray, but silver. The color on the TV is identical to an old BS1 cabinet we have next to it and very close, almost exactly the color of the ALT. The serial number does come back as being Gray according to B and O. I will

  • Re: BV7-40 MKIII Weird Colors / Humming Noise

Weebyx: Hi, i am the "happy" owner of a BV7-40 MKIII television. When i first bought it, i noticed that it had a low frequency humming noice when the picture was very dark, i talked to my dealer, and he contacted B&O, and "they had never heard about people complaining about noise from BV7" before. I told them that i could not
