IMHO a single BL4000 as the centre speaker is a weak link in your setup, maybe you should add another one? From purely aesthetic perspective your planned setup is harmonised. I was struggling with the same question regarding centre speaker a year ago and ended to BL7.1. I still hate the looks, soundwise it is excellent. But to your question: yes, you

Personally I prefer the looks of BC9000. BS4500 is also nice but too wide to my taste with BC and BG. Brusehed aluminum vs steel is a taste issue. For me both are ok. Biggest disadvantage for BC9000 is the lack of two way communication and powerlink connectors. Neither of those has caused me problems. With the MCL it is possible to connect even the

2) MX4000 does not support your case, it needs to be a MX4002 - if you are satisfied with the MX design and tube size of 4002. From the CRT range my favourite is also the LX series both design- and audiowise. If you add an MCL2P that would add more flexibility and power to the system. I have had this kind of setup and would recommend the MCL2P. 6) This

At least in my system TV starts the analogue tuner and DTV the digital one - both terrestrial and satellite channels.

Christian mentioned the basic facts already. You can use speakers with 4 ohms, it is more difficult to the amp but the amp protects itself. Depending on the max power of your speakers you should adjust the MCL-system accordingly. Inside the relay box you will find a wheel with power markings. The markings are based on 8 ohms, with 4 ohms you should

I'm a little confused. Was the system BS9000 or a BC9000? Regardless of this in Finland you typically ask for an estimate of repair costs when you leave the system and if the costs exceed the estimate repair shop has to contact the customer for approval. You may leave an open voucher but this is normally not recommended. So called "major repair"

Hello, A short while ago I replaced the old RL60.2's as fronts with the BL8000's in my BS3 setup. This freed also the MCL2P-amplifier I was using. I could use this elsewhere in my MCL-system - I have some extra MC2AV:s available. The Beolink master I am having is a BM6500. Has anybody tested if the audio quality would be improved if the amplifier

macw0lke: Yes, isn't the BC9000 a great design? It is definately my personal favourite. I would argue that the design and user interface (including logic) BC9000 are still the best B&O has manufactured. If BC9500 had also the brushed aluminum that would go ahead with powerlink etc. There might be something I have not been exposed to...

Designwise BS6500 is one of my favorites, perhaps immediately after BC9000. To have decent display you need to have a terminal supporting two way functionality.
