• Re: Refoaming cx100
I removed as much glue as I could without damaging the woofers by scraping using a craft knife blade, and them wiped with methylated spirit. I then glued the new foam ring directly on to the remains of the other glue and it worked fine. Simon
The trick with methylated spirit works fine although it takes

  • Refoaming cx100

I have refoamed a couple of speakers with no problems, but have a problem with my current project. The cx100 woofers seems to be a little tricky. I have removed most of the foam ring, but the foam which is glued to the paper cone is tricky. Has anybody got a solution how to take it away? Or do you just glue the new foam ring on top of it? The speakers
Don't get frustrated, you are close!
Thanks for your reassuring words. I'll try that tomorrow. It's getting a bit late here in Denmark

Well I've tried to measure the time the motors run. The plate of the tape deck opens in about 2 secs. The plate of the cd opens halfway in about 1 sec. These times are not exact, but I'm sure the motors run differently in time.

Oh now I understand how it works. So If both motors run for exactly the same time the problem has to be some sort of friction in the tracks?

If the problem is dirt in the tracks wouldn't the door open if I helped it a little with a finger?
Well, you never know what a problem is until you take a look at it...
Well I bought the BC 9300, maybe I shouldn't because I can't figure out what's wrong with the sliding mechanism. I have removed the center plate so I can see the sliding mechanism. Nothing seems to be wrong, the motor runs when

I have the opposite problem with my BC 9300. I have to press hard on the glass panel to get response at all. /riis

  • Re: Salgsannoncer?

Tak for dit svar Martin.
