Stuart, How far off were the CD's not returning them to the original inserted position? Maybe replacement of the mechanism means that the CD memory / position function was wiped clean and you need to restart to set the position again? could that be a possibility? I have my BS9K since 2001, and have never needed it to be serviced, although maybe

Well, I'm sure the reason for the lack of any images is that B&O and David Lewis Partners are tight and small. B&O keep all mfg in house, all mockups are probably tightly held and maybe only a few dozen people know what things look like... Much easier to control leaks. If you flip open the grated metal portion of the BS9000 which exposes the control panel, on the one short side of the panel, you'll see an indentation (for a finger). The control panel, which is held in place with strong magnets, just pulls off. I'd suggest firmly pulling up, and you'll notice that, the control panel tilts off the BS9000
