My Beogram 6500 plays good through the Beosund 9000 MKII. I do have some questions. Should the transport screws be totally removed? How do I raise the platter? The screws are now very loose but it sounds like the record hits something during playback or just on the turn function.

It works! I started the Beogram once again and it plays great.

While I'm waiting for my 2 Beomaster 6500 from Dillen I tried putting the Beogram 6500 to the AUX of the Beosound 9000 MKII. I added A AUX to my Beo4 MKII but no sound at all. The Beosound 9000 is linked to the Beovision AV9000 by ML and in option 0. How do I get sound from the Beogram?

I have as main Beomasters: 2 Beomaster 6500 2 Beomaster 6000 '80s 2 Beomaster 8000 I have been using 6000 and 8000 since 2006 on and off depending on what was actually working and what was at Dillen. I can't make my mind up about 6000 or 8000 being my favorite of the two other than I think I can live with 6000 and the 8000 is to wide for any

What's bad about the Beomaster 6500 amplifier wise?

Interesting thread. I do have a pair of Beovox M150 but at present Dillen has both of my Beomastere 6500 for service but otherwise it could be an interesting thing to try out. Normally they handle a Beomaster 8000 really well. For the Beomaster 6500 I got my white Beovox S120 waiting for the return.

Well I could just do with the Beosystem 6500 handle everything however I'm getting more into getting my B&O collection scaled down these days. This means Beosystem 6000 and 8000 takes to much space but it plays awesomely when it works. After getting the Beosystem 6500 I started to like how well functional and options you have towards linking

Good point. I'm still using records and cassete tapes. If I could live with cd's only in the living room it would more simpel to link. The alternative is to have the white Beosystem 6000 in the living room together with the AV9000 + Beosound 9000.

Thank you for your reply. Where do I put the Ml/MCL converter? I mean is it connected to the ML between the Beovisions?

Its been a great day. I finally got a Beogram 6500 to complete the Beosystem 6500. Ad another BM6500, BC6500 and MCP6500 to it as well. The BM is dead so it was rather cheap. Its now in the hands of Dillen to fix both of my BM6500. Yesterday I saw a Beosound 9000 MKII 2001 for sale near Copenhagen for 914£. It needed to be cleaned a bit but it
