Apologies Andy - I had a look yesterday and it was 23.97 - so I just assumed..... Oh well - paid Lee now, so I'll just assume my copy is typo free or the extra tenner !!!! Best Regards David
-
That's a typo Lee - its 23.97. Andy still has his driving gloves on !! On that basis - my order is with you, not Amazon - put the £6 towards a round next time your "up North" ... Regards David

Long shot - but check the on/off switch !! You won't be the first avant owner to find "someone" has turned off the avant using the very discrete button - in fact, many people don't even know its there, despite owning the avant for years, Depending on your Avant, it may be at the back, down near the mains socket, or in a recess under

Hi Kokomo, I can't speak for other dealers, but PX here is run along the lines Peter detailed. It has been well covered elsewhere on this Forum, but just to recap - there is a PX offer, just ending, that was organised centrally, whereby a minimum PX value was offered to anyone with an older B&O TV ( it had to work, and have a functioning remote

All the best to Beoworld and Beoworlders. 2009 will be.............interesting. Best Wishes, Chris, David, Ian, Graham, Russ & Kevan.

Keith is correct - replacement grilles for all avant variants are still available - however, I would maybe suggest you try washing the ones you have. Unless the wear you mention includes actual holes, you should find they come up like new. The typical issue is all the speaker drive unit outlines, and some fixation holes, become visible as "shadows"

Seasons Greeting to everyone here, and Best Wishes for the New Year - it looks like 2009 will be, in beoterms, an interesting one. BeoWorld has been, and is, a credit to Lee, Peter, Keith, Andy et al - and in many respects it reflects the broad appeal / atributes of the B&O brand in general, so it has been a pleasure and an honour to post here.

Rory Gallagher - Wheels within Wheels. RIP - one of the true greats. Sounding amazing via our nice new white Lab 6000's - wall mounted and looking very tasty :-)
-
I have just installed a white Beosound 9000 at home ( number 417 ) and I have to say - I'm delighted. It looks great. It also sound noticeably better than my Bsnd 3000 did, by a bigger margin than I expected - so a result all round. The frets on speakers will needs some care though - as others have said David.

joeyboygolf: 9 LEE: joeyboygolf: Come on you lot, get real, not really generous. They are hardly saleable and if you don't do him a favour he will have to pay to dump them !! Dealers have got rooms full of these things as part of the B&O trade in scheme. They have already cost the dealer at least £250 as their contribution to the £500
