  • Abit too eager Beogram CD 5500

Some months ago i recived my Beogram CD 5500 and i then completed my Beosystem 5500. However I did a big error when I tested the CD since i forgot to unplug the transportplugs (not good...) but i seem to recall that it did behave nicely the first couples of days after removing plugs. Then it started to be more and more quick to close the CD-tray, it

  • Beogram CD 7000

Im sad today, i have had my Beogram CD 7000 in for repairs at my B&O store but it come down to that the fault is the laser and since B&O dont have them in stock, they cant repair it. So right now i have to settle with a CD-player that is very moody, sometimes it plays as its supposed to but most of the times it "skips" (sounds like

  • Re: Beosystem 5500 versus Beosystem 7000

Thanx all for the input. I have no problems with the quality of the sound but just the "volumeness" of the specfic level, and if now its pretty much the same power and that the 7000 have double steps i would think its a totaly normal thing. Checked the connections at the back and all seems ok, the line-in plug is where its supposed too. I

  • Beosystem 5500 versus Beosystem 7000

This might be a very strange question but it really is having me abit puzzled so here it goes: I have a complete Beosystem 5500 with Beolab Penta A connected with speakerlink, then i was tempted to buy a Beosystem 7000 wich i now have connected the speakers above to however i think the degree of the volume is very diffrent. Is that a "normal"

  • Re: VX7000 on a Sony TV

Thanx Jesper, I really suspected that... but was unsure. I also belive there was probobly a special kit in order to make it work on 3rd party TV as Peter is saying since some of the sentences in the manual makes me suspect that but i guess i will have to test it on a B&O TV (a friend of mine got one). Cheers for the help MoglesMac Sweden

  • VX7000 on a Sony TV

Hello, A VX7000 VCR "landed" in my lap, only coz i was after the Beolink 5000 that came with it and now i wanna see if it works in order to eventually sell it. I can play tapes with the playbutton at front of VCR and then eject the tape also with button on front of VCR. All seems to work since i get a nice picture via a SCART to my Sony-TV

  • Re: SPEAKER LINK

When I had my Beolab Penta A connected to a MCL-2A box i had full and working information on the displays. I use a Beosystem 5500 with a MCL-2A box to a linkroom (MCL-2A connected to Speaker 2 on Beomaster 5500). The speakerconnections on MCL-2A box is a standard 4-pin Speakerlink while on Speaker2 on Beomaster 5500 is "only" 3-pin. Cheers
