You could make a short 7 pin Din plug to socket adapter to go in between the CD player and the Amplifier. Wire the datalink control pins from the amp to the CD player, but leave the CD player audio outputs disconnected. Add another cable into the DIN plug of the adapter to feed the audio output of the DAC into the LR inputs of CD input of the Beomaster

I have seen the exact symptom you describe on another 7007. It was caused by a faulty motor in the cassette player, the brushes and commutator had worn out and the motor became very hot when running which caused the power supply to drop out. The solution was to replace the motor with another from a donor machine, as it was not rebuildable.
