Hi Martin, i have a simular problem, my BL 5 have to much bass as well. With the calibration is better than the speakers I owned before (B&W 802). However, in reality, the BL 5 can not adjust bad room acustics (in my case). As far as I know standing waves are a problems hardly to solve by any calibration software. Karsten
