I have e-mailed B&O in Struer about the Crash-problem. I got the answer today. They say that they are working on a SW 5.0 which will be released "soon". We now what "soon" means. They could not say if this new sw will solve the crashproblem. So we have to wait further for the sw 5.0 and see if this will help. /Martin

My BV7-40 MarkIII "crashed" yesterday again. I went in the Service menu and checked what error code it was when it crashed. It said "Watchdog reset". Does anybody of you know what this is?

I have also yesterday my first "crash" with my BV7-40 MarkIII. I have had the sw 4.24 installed in july. Does anyone know anything about a new software yet? Regards Martin

Hi, about the "khz"-discussion: What I know, there are no BR-titles recorded at 192khz anyway. There are some Music-BR-titles recorded in 96 khz (Celine Dion Live in Las Vegas). Most of the BR-movies are recorded in 48 khz and many of them sounds very good even with 48 khz. So I dont think it is a big deal at all if BS3 handle 96 khz or 192

It is a digital data-stream from the BR-player to the receiver (BS3). This Multichannel PCM-datastream is already decoded in the player. So you compare apples with bananas

Moxxey: if you read all the answers from B&O, it will also say that BS3 handle Multichannel PCM at all channels and it also handle 96khz/24 bit . So no downconversion at any way. So maybe we should be happy now and enjoy our BS3/Bv7 with both sound and picture-quality.
