There was a US contact in the old forum. They knew whether it could be done via the serial number and a check of other details. Maybe someone here has the information. You could contact: B&O America listed in the B&O website here . Unfortunately there is no telephone number, should not be too hard to track down... Interestingly a number of conversions

Thanks. I'll try the link in the UK for CD's. Had a quick look at Amazon though the international freight is a worry. beoaus.

New iTunes tracks are re-produced direct from the record companies, or at least I was told so. Just wondering if some are actually better than CD's, especially some poor 80's produced tracks... I have to re-purchase a a few hundred lost CD's... thanks beoaus.

Most songs are now available in the new DRM free format. Music quality wise am I better buying CD's or the iTunes Plus equivalent or is there little difference... thanks, beoaus.

I too have a BV7 with DVI and coaxial audio. Futureshop are still looking into it. I have been recently told that some devices only carry stereo sound through HDMI. Foxtel IQ2 - SKYHD and Apple TV were mentioned... please tell me this is incorrect?... Otherwise it would mean a rather complex HDMI and coaxial audio matrix of switches...would it not?
-
That is unusual... We have a BV7 MKII with BL1's and BL2 at the front and BL4000's roof mounted at the rear. The BL1's are facing into the rooms centre... I actually listen to the BL1's from above in a mezzanine level quite a bit... I am happy with the setup... beoaus

Do you have them connected to a B&O TV, how are they setup? I to have BL1's and have had to spend some time setting them up... BTW the article Peter mentioned is found here beoaus...

Geffen and Oneremote are the vendors I have looked at. Both products I am after have been discontinued. I need the one that has 4x HDMI in and 1xDVI + coaxial audit out to connect to the BV7 or something similar. http://shop.oneremote.dk/content/8281u2%20%20UK.pdf Both companies have the product suitable for your new BV8... I'll keep you updated
