  • Re: Easiest to service?

If missing parts or mechanicla parts need to be replaced - Beogram 800x is the one, simply because it is easy to find donor products. I also think the circuit of the Beogram 800x / technology will be preferrible for service. /Frede

  • Re: Retipping of SP 12 - Technical improvement

Peter, I will be happy to measure your collection of stylus collection. However, we have to remember this test will be a test of the total pickup. Because for the SP units I can change the stylus only, this is not possible for the MMC cartriges. A true test would be a MMC before shipping to >Alex and a test after Alex has performed his 'magic

  • Retipping of SP 12 - Technical improvement

I have developed a method to measure the frequency response of B&O cartridges. I have used this method to find the technical part of improvements by retipping the B&O SP12 cartridge. I can prove a major improvement of performance as a result of the fine work - done by Axel Schürholz - info@schallplattennadeln.de The test. I used the same

Martin, Allow me a couple of days, I am out all day tomorrow, sunday I will post a couple pictures more. The side panels a metal in black like the Beolab - the back is a kind of hand made / lab made grill and yes there are ventilation at the bottum and the top of the wooden part of the cabinet. By the way Martin, the Dirigent FM --- do you have a stereo

  • Unknown B&O GrandPrix ?

I have resentlig been the lucky owner of a rare product, at least I have never seen this before. You can see on the picture it is in very good condition, and of course it can play music with the fine 'tube sound'. I think this one is perhaps the very first of the total new design / styling B&O adapted in the early sixties, a design without

  • Re: Privat survey of Beolab 5000 - Beomaster 5000 producs

Hi Bert, Tks. for the ID of your products. There are no direct replacement transistors - and please be very careful - I never use anything else than the originals for this amplifier. When I can use the original is because I use doner parts from other Beolab products. The capacitors - you can use any new parts e.g. 4700uF / 100V for output and power

  • Re: Anyone recognise this?

This is one of the Beomaster 900 or Master 610 versions where a special front panel was designed with 90 dg. turned text. There are one or two at Struer Museum of these special versions. The turntable is Beogram V / VF 42 (Beogram 1000) /Frede
