Bought an MX7000 and VX7000 for my parents, the VX appears to have part of the trim missing from the video cassette flap or lid. There is a thin clear plastic dust excluder, should there be a black perspex trim in front of that on the flap fascia? If so what is the item called? I have just ordered a 'cassette lid' from the new B&o shop Derby

I can concurr with the above views re Reconelab, I have found Wilmslow Audio helpful for replacement or upgraded capacitors, they also supply veneer and speaker cloth. They may offer a refurbishment service so it would be wortha try. Regards Dave
