Unfortunately I think the whole concept of Beosound 5 and Encore is flawed. You shouldn't have to stand up and use close-up operation to choose your music. B&O was the first to introduce music systems with remote controls or, even better, control panels. The navigation should be on the remote. BeoMaster 5 + Beo6 should be the combo. However

I have just installed Lion to be able to test the new version of LinkPlayer. LinkPlayer isn't an iTunes plug in, so it shouldn't be impacted by the new version of iTunes. If you do have LinkPlayer on a standalong Mac (Media Center), then I think there is no goo reason to upgrade to Lion, as it wouldn't bring much, and would remove FrontRow

For those who want Airport, simply plug an Airport Express into the Audio AUX IN of the Encore. But I agree, it would be goog if it were built in the BS5, BS5 Encore and BS8.

There are several "main" screens. Swipe from right to left to go from one to another.

You need to enter your account name and password. This is on the first screen of the App. Tap the Account button. Once you've entered your credentials, the Reply button will be active. it is the same button as in the Mail app. p.
