Surface mount LEDs used to replace individual segment LEDs from the display. The LEDs I used were rated 2.5-3.2 Volts @ 50 mA.

Gerhard: I successfully redid the entire display on my BM 8000 2 weeks ago replacing all segments with surface mount LEDs. You really need to replace all of them because there the voltage between the old and new leds don't match and more importantly because the display is strobed. Hi Martin: I was speaking to some B&O service people about the 9500. They have noticed that over the years they have seen many 9500s brought in for repair due to power surges. In all instances these surges takes out several of the leds under the sensi-touch controls. Have you seen this and do you recommend a modification such as the adding a movistor

Hi: I had a similar problem with hum and no sound from my BG 4002. The problem was found to be inside the DIN connector (connector that plugs into your B&O receiver side) not in the deck. The ground and one of the signal wires snapped off. You can resolder the wires. No need to cut the connector off, the DIN shell can be taken apart. Derek
